About Stephanie
What inspired you to be a SP?
I have always been passionate about helping others and wanted to find a career where I could make a positive difference in people’s lives. In year 10, I completed work experience here at NSPOT and was so inspired by the way the team supported children and their families. I developed a strong belief that communication is a human right and I wanted to empower children to express their needs and wants.
Who do you like to work with?
I love working in a paediatric setting with preschool-aged clients all the way through to adolescence. It is such a privilege to be able to support children and their families to meet their goals. So far, I have really enjoyed working on speech sounds and school aged literacy, however, I am looking forward to continuing to work with a range of clients!
Greatest accomplishment:
One of my greatest accomplishments was studying in Rome for two weeks in 2025. I visited family and travelled to Italy, the Netherlands, England, Switzerland, France, Germany and Belgium.

Pop up pirate, UNO and Mr Potato Head are my favourites! I love using games in sessions to work towards goals which are meaningful for clients and their families. It helps engage our kids and build rapport.
I love spending time with family and friends, going on bush walks and eating at local cafes. I also really enjoy playing board games and baking!
I am currently working towards my Bachelor of Speech Pathology at the Australian Catholic University. I will graduate at the end of 2026.
