About Serena
What inspired you to become an OT?
Ever since I was little, I knew that I wanted to do something related to health. Towards the end of my high school years I did some research on jobs relating to health and came across OT. I loved that OT focuses on what is truly meaningful to the individual and supports both the client and their family in a variety of ways.
Who do you like to work with?
I have always had a passion for working with children. If you ask anyone that knows me they will say that I genuinely love engaging and playing with them. I thought paediatrics OT was the perfect fit for me because play is a fundamental part of OT, and I love how it can be used in a fun and meaningful way to support children’s development.
