About Sakeen

What inspired you to become a Speechie?
I was drawn to Speech Pathology because of my want to help others communicate and connect with the world around them. Through my studies and clinical experiences, I saw first-hand how communication challenges impact individuals across different stages of childhood. Speech pathology allows me to combine my love for learning, problem solving and person-centered care in a way that is both meaningful and rewarding.

Who do you like to with?
I enjoy working with a diverse range of clients. I have a particular passion for supporting children and their families. I strive to create a fun, engaging and supportive environment where children can feel confident and motivated to communicate. Watching a child grow in their ability to express themselves and connect with others is incredibly rewarding.

What is your greatest accomplishments?
One of my greatest achievements is completing my bachelors degree in health science and a masters degree in speech pathology to be where I am today.

I love anything with wheels. Toy cars, trucks, tractors, trains. But my all-time favourite has to be UNO.

I like spending time with friends and family, whether it be at home or going out for dinner. I also enjoy watching sport, NRL and cricket are my favorite. I know we’re in Penrith, but Bulldogs are my team.
