About Nikki
What inspired you to become an OT?
I knew I wanted to work in a field that had real impact on people but was unsure where to go with this. After hearing about OT I instantly knew it was right for me. I love the way OT builds meaningful connections with clients and creates positive change to their everyday lives!
Who do you like to work with?
I have worked with children for many years as a sports coach and a tutor and have absolutely loved watching them grow and learn as individuals. Bringing this into my OT journey I knew Paediatrics was the place for me.
Greatest accomplishments?
My greatest accomplishment would be utilising all of my studies so far to begin working as an Occupational Therapy Assistant!
I enjoy incorporating all types of movement into any activity. Whether that involves an obstacle course, scavenger hunt, or fun ball game, I love creatively involving movement to achieve therapy goals.
In my free time I am usually spending time with my friends and family. I also love to read and go to the gym!
Currently in my third year of Bachelor of Occupational Therapy.
