About Emma

What inspired you to be an OT?
I have always loved health and working with people. I remember discovering occupational therapy and seeing myself doing it for the rest of my life. I am passionate about helping people achieve better wellbeing and health. I love working closely with clients and really getting to know them and helping them succeed. It’s incredibly rewarding to make such a difference in someone’s life, whether big or small. I also love that Occupational therapy is so broad and versatile, you can develop skills in so many areas and really branch out and challenge yourself. There is always something new and exciting going on and I love every bit of it.

Who do you like to work with?
I love working with all ages but in particular I love paediatrics and geriatrics after having experience in both.

Greatest accomplishment:
Getting into the Bachelor of occupational therapy at university and making it on the dean’s list twice.
