About Monica

What inspired you to become a speechie?

Growing up, I have always had a passion for helping others and empowering people. Communication is such a fundamental human right. It is really rewarding when I can assist people to improve their communication and social skills. Being a speechie allows me to empower individuals to find their voice, and by doing this, I feel so fulfilled that I’m having a positive impact on someone’s life.

Who do you like to work with?

I mainly would like to work in paediatrics with children who have complex speech and language difficulties. I would also like to work with adolescents who encounter any communication difficulties.

I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, going to the movies, hiking, and trying out new restaurants. I also enjoy going to the beach and soaking up the sun!
