What inspired you to become a Speechie?
During my final schooling years, I was looking at potential careers. I heard about speech pathology and the amazing work of Speechies. To learn more about speech pathology, I organised to complete work experience at Nepean Speech and Occupational Therapy. I instantly knew that I wanted to be a Speech Pathologist and empower people through communication. Now I’m very excited to be working in the clinic where I was inspired to become a Speechie!
Who do you like to work with?
I like to work with children and adults with a range of communication difficulties, including speech, language, literacy, social skills and fluency (stuttering). I am also passionate about working with clients of all ages with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
