Self Care Group Program

This group program is designed to help young primary students aged 5-8 who are experiencing difficulty with their daily self-care activities. The program targets fundamental skills (i.e. fine motor skills, motor planning skills, visual perceptual skills, sensory processing) that a child needs to complete self-care tasks. It also provides goal orientated interactive activities to help children to gain their independence in self-care tasks.

The program will focus on the following self-care tasks:

  • Buttons and zippers
  • Tying shoelaces
  • Bottom wiping
  • Upper body dressing
  • Lower body dressing

Children aged 5-8 (kindergarten – year 3)
